The bushes are beautiful and the sawdust is piled up for mulching. Fall brings some quiet time for harvesting from our garden and apple trees. Soon we will be busy with the pruning and mulching.

The blueberry picking is over for this season. We will close after Labor Day. We need to pick berries for freezing, have the gleaners pick a few more blueberries to give to others, and start on our other farm tasks. Picking has slowed down
The ripe blueberries have nearly disappeared and the purple ones need several days to ripen. Starting August 17th we are slowing down the picking for a few days to let the berries ripen. Full bloom
Full bloom often goes into June. The plants are changing from their red brown colors into a green and white mosaic.
